It is an artificial thing women put on to help them look "pretty." I'm not against make-up -- wouldn't leave the house without it! And nail polish might be the first I would allow my daughter -- but not at two or even four. I'll have to wait and see when I think she (and her parents) are ready. And I think it is definitely the first step towards wanting the rest of the make-up package -- lip gloss, blush, etc. At least as I've seen it in my family and friend's children.[/quote]
