We've finally been able to ease up on spending a little after years of very strict budgeting and saving for a home and day care - not wild and crazy, but finally getting a babysitter to go out to dinner every couple months, going to non-free museums, going on budget summer vacations - so I know we can live on very little if we need to. But health insurance would be very expensive. Definitely thinking about more conservative spending until we figure out if my job is in danger, but not necessarily ready to 100% cut discretionary spending just yet. Maybe better to do things like get good preventative medical and dental care ASAP while we have it. [/quote]
