OP here. Not looking to stir the pot. Just asking an honest question. Is what you get at a med spa the same thing? If not, how is it different? Is it safer? I don’t eat processed food. I barely eat out. Yes, I have a sweet tooth but I don’t sit around eating packs of cookies everyday. As I said, I have an exercise and diet plan in place, but I wanted to use this in combination to jump start the weight loss process because I am at the point where I am feeling the inflammation and I need relief. If you have real experience with the drug that you want to share, please do so. But do not lecture me on how terrible a person I am for wanting to try a medication. Thanks.
A local medspa will write you a prescription for the name brand medication which you can fill at any pharmacy provided you can find it. Your insurance will probably not cover the medication and you will probably have to pay out of pocket for that name brand medication - some providers provide coupons but the cost will still be around $600. If you go the online route, those services will likely prescribe you compounded medication. That is essentially the same medication but it is mixed by a compounding pharmacist and doesn’t come in the pen that the brand name version does. It seems that some compounding pharmacies are more trustworthy than others so you are taking a gamble.
