BOOM! You caught me being involved and interested in tax policy and its impact on the next generation. Now that I am fully exposed as a member of society, want to add something other than snark. I did post something yesterday in the private school thread and was very politely asked to post here. I nuanced my question since I thought perhaps all of my questions were a bit too overwhelming? Thank you so much for the "shout out!" Also, I am so sorry to inform you I am not your previous poster who posted on this topic ever. (Maybe there two people with the same idea?)
So I guess you're saying you never posted on this topic previously ... prior to yesterday? If that's true, then I encourage you to read some of the links above, so you can become more informed about how the nonprofit tax laws relate to private schools. Many people smarter than I am (and even tax lawyers IIRC) responded to the other 501(c) poster with lots of detail about why her arguments don't make sense. If you want to learn about "tax policy and its impact on the next generation," those other posts are a great place for you to start, if only so you don't make the same embarrassing mistakes that other poster made.
My questions and my right to post them are as valid as your right to troll, hunt and kill your prey. Aren't you in the education business? Strange. I am personally familiar with your writing style and your prose. If we do in fact know each other, I am disappointed because I really liked your DC hanging at my house with my DC. I will not allow my DC to hang out with bullies.
I really don't understand where you're going in this last segment. No, I'm not in the education business, and I doubt our children have even played together. If you'd like to start a productive discussion about tax policy and education, then I'd suggest you start a straightforward thread aimed at discussing the issues in a mature way. Mixing your tax discussion up with Big Bird and Presidential politics isn't a good way to begin a meaningful discussion.
