FWIW, I concluded that Romney lacks core principles when I read about his Senate bid.  A Mormon woman, who happens to be pro-choice, attended a ward event in the early stages of the campaign.  She was excited about his choice position and asked him about.  He replied something to the effect that "Salt Lake gave me the okay."  When she explained her position, he basically indicated that she was not his kind of Mormon.

One thing I can't shake about Romney is the prep school incident where he held down a fellow classmate, presumed to be gay, while others cut his hair.  I find the bullying and gay-bashing so harrowing.  Even my husband, who doesn't really get swept up in this stuff, was shaken by the story.  [/quote]
