Well, I’m sure that if they get the attainable housing through we will get more of that’s. LIKE, OMG, WOULD’T IT BE BE GREAT IF WE HAD A LITTLE COFFE SHOP IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD? OR A BIKE SHOP? It’s the next step in the evolution of urbanizing the suburbs. All of these little projects are Trojan horses. https://moco360.media/2023/02/01/homeowners-could-rent-out-their-pools-gyms-legally-under-jawando-bill/
Oh please. Get a life. A coffee shop in my neighborhood is not something to fear. Geez. Don’t believe me? Take a look at the Brookville pharmacy in Chevy Chase and tell me how that has ruined the neighborhood. Be specific. What are you afraid of?
An empty commercial building next to my house was opened as a coffee shop, which now has morphed into a hard-alcohol restaurant with outdoor seating. Fo starters, garbage and glass recycling trucks come at 4 am because they try to beat traffic, noise ordinance be damned. Yeah, it's fun having to adjudicate these issues with the bar-restaurant. Then there are rats from the commercial property. There have been drunk fights at closing time in the back parking lot. Customers throw trash over the fence. Nothing to fear. Right. Geez.
