But that just happened to be the leagues that the teams were playing in when Pachuca joined Potomac. Otherwise, the Pachuca team and the Black team have been pretty similar.

Now that they’re starting a new year though, they’re re-evaluating and re-sorting the kids. Orange will be the stronger team, playing in EDP 2. And Black will be the next team, playing in EDP 3.

Orange might also benefit from the addition of some of the Potomac ECNL-RL players that are being forced down as part of the ripple from Potomac trying to strengthen their ECNL team. In other words, Potomac is trying to add new players to their ECNL team, which will force some of the existing ECNL players to the ECNL-RL team (if they stay with Potomac). And that will force some of the existing ECNL-RL players to Orange, assuming those kids don’t leave for other clubs.
