I mean, 150 lbs and over 5' isn't always realistic. I'm under 5' and 100 lbs and I can't sit in the back and drive...should my parents have prevented me from sitting up front until I absolutely had to get into that driver's seat?[/quote]

This comes up in connection with 5 point harnesses too, and people can take it really personally. It's not personal, no one is telling you where to sit. But the safety features of the car are not designed with you in mind, just like they are not designed with a 6'5" man in mind. The fact there aren't better options for your frame doesn't change the physics. So yes, you would be safer in the back seat.[/quote]
