One of the morning shows just did a segment on this this morning. It was all about how younger people are dropping the apps. There are more and more businesses that focus on real life dating experiences showing up and people pay good money for them. Singles meeting up to go on runs, a lot of speed dating is gaining popularity, things like that. It definitely makes sense for the under 40 crowd with no kids, but I think for the over 40 crowd and single parents I can see the appeal of the apps. I do feel bad for all the divorced mid-forties dads on DCUM who say the dating apps make meeting women in their 20s easier lol. It looks like the trends are going to make that harder moving forward so get them while you can.
LOL...they did speed dating in DC recently and my female friends complained. Guys didn't go it was like three guys and about 40 women. Those meetups are the same way too. Most have all women and no guys. Guys have decided dating isn't worth it.
