They are half assed because those are the electoral incentives they face. They have a loud contingent that opposes Israel and then a lot of people who are less loud that won't vote for Dems unless they support Israel. And ironically the loud contingent (young activists) is not a reliable voting bloc so that's why they get lip service whereas those that support Israel get the $$ and weapons.[/quote]

The Democratic party's support of Israel goes well, well beyond Biden, if that's who you're referring to.

It's about who will vote for them, including Harris. And if Harris loses I assure you the other side will not cut support to Israel.
