We can probably stretch and pay for private too - just trying to figure out all of the options now, and seems like it would be best to pick the best neighborhood for a public school and then be free to do either.[/quote]

Good luck. Major takeaway for me is that DC has charter, traditional public, and decent private options. Charters are really starting to make an impact on DC. [/quote]
