[/quote] Did you forget the turmoil of the mid to late 1960's, the US engaged in Vietnam, two Kennedy assassinations that changed the course of history and the peak of the cold war and the ongoing fight for Civil rights, women's rights and worker rights? That is actually the condition reflected in the current tension between the parties that they are still fighting. The GOP wants to turn the clock back to before those wins, not codify them.[/quote]
