Affairs tend to fall into the “well we don’t know both sides of the story” category. Be honest with people if they ask, and find 2-3 people you trust who you can vent to. Otherwise, look to the world like you are moving on with your fabulous life. It RARELY works out with the AP and in all likelihood, if you look like you’ve moved on, he’ll come crawling back.
