What EV’s would you recommend to buy used? Which to lease? I would be looking at spending mid- to lower range and am willing to try a variety of sizes. I would be a first-time EV user.
How will you be using it? Mainly a grocery getter/commuter car? Longer trips?
Around town. We have a second car for longer trips.
For around town, I don't think you could do much better then this: https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicle/725706955 I am not a fan of the color, but this is the sport model of the i3 which has a few more horsepower and wider tires. The i3 was far ahead of its time and, as a result, this car is still fairly modern. At this price, if your income is below the cut-off, you can get a $4k rebate, making the car about $20k and, if you are in DC, there will be no sales tax. Only 17,926 miles. But, there are a lot of other good deals out there if this is not your thing.
