Only if you have pretty severe social anxiety. You ask. They say yes or no. And everyone moves on. No big deal.

But make sure you understand how a carpool works — everyone needs to share the driving equally and needs to have space for all the kids. And no one wants to drive too far out of the way to pick up or drop off any child.[/quote]
