Unless it is MLS Next academies, the local MLS Next clubs are comparable to ECNL. 2011 SYC lost to VDA 2011 SYC lost to Arlington ECNL R 2011 Arlington ECNL tied with DCU

Kudos to VDA and NVA for making top 25 on the boys side. No DMV club on the girls side though.
And yet this board makes it their pleasure to crap all over both clubs.
Nobody cares about ECNL boys. MLSNext.
Except some people do (and not for nothing, having played a few MLS Next teams, it's a whole lot of hype for a league that also has some very good teams and some very shite teams (plus everything in between). There's literally no reason for you psychos to keep crapping all over ECNL boys. Who hurt you?

I assume you aren't ignorant enough to be making comparisons between quality of teams based on preseason scrimmages where coaches are mixing and experimenting with lineups?
Why is it that only MLSN and MLS Academies are experimenting with lineups? Wouldn't this be true of all teams int he pre-season? What's the excuse gonna be mid-season or later? The reality is that there are good, bad, and in-between teams in both leagues. But the narrative that it's MLSN/Academy or bust is just exhausting. I guess according to you folks, everyone who isn't on MLSN/Academy should just give up and quit?
If my kid is trying to go pro and can’t even get on an MLSNext team, yes. If college is the goal, then many other teams are fine depending on what kind of college experience is sought. I have no doubt that non MLSN teams are as good as a team, even better, but a clubs winning percentage is very low on priority when we only care about whether our kid is being properly developed and getting better. only two clubs in the dmv area meet that criteria for us.
