Meaning everyone pays for it whether they use it or not. Around here many schools offer it separate to keep down tuition costs for those who don't use it. Our school has a fair number of students who can walk to school, and many who use the metro or city busses. They shouldn't pay for someone else's transportation in a city where it so easy to use public transportation.[/quote]

Does your student use every facility and service provided by your school? My student doesn’t participate in organized sports but our tuition presumably still pays for the cost of the facilities, equipment, and coaching staff. So it goes![/quote]
No, of course not. Lunch is included in our tuition but our picky eater brings lunch. So we pay for food anyway. If transportation we didn’t use was included in tuition, we’d pay for it, not switch schools. But I’m still happy we *don’t* have to pay for something we don’t use. [/quote]
