2022 area class had 24 high level D1 recruits.  Less than 2021.  SJC team that year was special and had the most high level recruits with 5.

2022. 24

Average across the five years - 23.6

Some points of interest which should be obvious.

- most come from Prep, Bullis, Landon, Gonzaga, SJC
- win loss record closely correlates with how many each team has
- IAC and WCAC provide almost all recruits.

I am not sure where you are getting your numbers or what you consider a high level D1 but that is subjective.  A quick glance at the club websites:

2023 Next Level:  D1-20 plus high level D3 Bowdoin, W&L, CNU
2023 Madlax DC Dogs D1 -15 Plus several high level D3
2023 VLC D1-11 Commitments plus a few NESCAC and CNU

I know that DCE and even Blackwolf had more so that is closer to 50+ D1 commitments not to mention a few were out of state clubs but players that played for WCAC and IAC teams.  There are also at least 10 from public schools.  There are 46 just at these three clubs.  You would really need to explain getting the number to 19.  [/quote]
