Unlike op you actually were present in your father’s life and didn’t blame him for being a “jerk” b/c he was undergoing brain damage due to a medical condition beyond his control.

What kind of person is disparaging of their father as he supposedly undergoes a “series of ministrokes” alone and in isolation that leads to his death? Sorry your dad disappointed you as he struggled to survive alone with serious medical issues that affected his brain, op. You were the real victim in that situation. [/quote]

I attribute the aggression and pathetic denial in this post to terror about the Republicans losing badly. [b] Donald Trump is too old and declining, pp. [/b] Some people can’t bear to hear what they don’t want to hear.

Some people isolate themselves, pp.  My father was one of them, and fortunately got good healthcare at the end of his life.  His life was his work and his colleagues and other people may have noticed or helped him early on.  I only realized in retrospect that there were signs of decline and once it was truly obvious, it was too late and he needed 24/7 care already.

I think we will see the same with Trump.  Blustering through verbal stumbles until one day he just needs constant care.  [/quote]
