We go twice a week, max. Once a week depending on schedule. It is fine. Any is better than none. You have to be realistic about what time and money you want to invest.
You won’t see much improvement with once or twice a week. Some but not much. If you don’t put the time and effort in, don’t blame your trainer if you don’t see major results.
Why would I blame the trainer? People need to be realistic about how much free time they have in addition to their regular sports practices. Everyone has to make trade-offs. My kid isn’t going to the Olympics. That’s ok, but we still want to support injury prevention while they do the sport they enjoy. They feel the difference and are satisfied with 1-2 days a week. YMMV
