Also, I had a neighbor who I’d chatted with a few times but wouldn’t consider a friend ask me if she could put me down for an emergency contact for her kids and I said yes of course! It can be done, OP. [/quote]

Do you really want a strange neighbor - who may or may not be a nice person - knowing if you have an emergency? I just moved to the neighborhood and I'd rather the police hold on to my child for a couple of hours if there was an emergency. [/quote]

DP but I would totally take that risk and have. When it gets that far down the list, the person I put down has almost zero chance of ever being contacted.[/quote]
