On the men’s side 64 foreign players from the NBA played in the Olympics. I like women’s basketball and the thing that surprised me is the French team was quicker than the US team. They just lacked some discipline and ball control. I was impressed Griner came back from her ordeal but frankly she is slow and a liability. One of the slower players on the French squad is one of the world’s best shooters- Johannes has taken over games in the WNBA so there is no way the team should have underestimated France and they needed to play crisp basketball.
