[/quote] Swimming doesn’t actually use the pectorals very much and swimmers are not encourage to develop huge pecs because it can interfere with their stroke. Breastrokers use their pecs the most, and that is why guys like Adam Peaty have big ones. Coincidentally Lilly King, also a sprint breastroker, is the first female swimmer that came to my mind with a normal/ample chest. I think PP is probably right - at an elite level, swimmers with big chests have a disadvantage when it comes to increased drag and reduced range of motion with fly, back and free.[/quote]
