I’m 56 can I play? I want to be 5-10 lbs overweight bmi (my dad told me to have a cushion in case I get sick)… I’m only 5 lbs away Retire at 58 Play double bogey golf. Stop getting injured doing innocuous things Buy a beach house Find an organization I really want to volunteer at.
It's this medically sound? Only asking bc i heard it's better to be slightly underweight as we age
It is really the opposite. Though what age that kicks in is subject to debate. 50s and 60s is probably too young. But by the 70s it is also known that carrying a bit extra weight can be good as appetites change and it provides some degree of protection in falls.
