I don't think it'll be 50 or 25 years before big troubles.  I think we've reached the tipping point already.  This whole 2100, 2050, 2030 year markers are a joke.  It's 2024 and we're at like 115 degree weather over summers, 1 - 1000 year floods repeating in the same places.  I'm looking at like 2-3 years before we're all looking at repeat disasters consistently throughout most of the world.

[b]What I think will happen is that those who have money will fare far better than those that do not.  It will be much more a survival of the richest.  I think life will find a way for those who can afford to shelter out of the outdoors and afford to eat truly delicious meals v just being able to eat to survive.  We're looking at inflation on a level that is driven by not the markets but by survival.

It won't all be in effect in 2-3 years of course but we'll start to see more of it in the coming years and I think within 5 years we will a lot of it feel the financial effects of a global climate crisis.  I think one of the reasons why everything already has become so much more expensive has been because of global climate challenges.  We're seeing already cocoa and coffee price adjustments.  Fruits and vegetables are next.  Meat for sure.  We will see it in food and then we will see it in the kind of shelter we have - location and type of housing/community.  We will see it in utility costs and clothing.  Climate change is more than just weather.  [/quote]
