I would go to the College Confidential athletic recruits page. My understanding is that it's OK for him (not you) to contact the coach at his top 2 choices and find out where he is on the list. He should wait to pick an ED school until he finds out whether he will get coach's support. A positive preread without a coach's support means his chances are the same as any other applicant, so he needs to find out if they are giving that support.[/quote]
