You're right. I found it listed in the 2024 magnet course catalog. Magnet level courses are comparable generally comparable to college level equivalents. For example, many who take linear algebra at Blair test out of it at UMD.[/quote]
I wouldn't consider this to be true for organic chemistry.  It may be roughly comparable to a community college course, but it's not going to cover the same depth of content as an organic chemistry course at a major university.  It just won't.  Students should consider it an intro course and retake orgo when they get to university.

PP whose kid took it at Blair a couple.of years ago. I agree and my kid is planning to retake in college. But I have heard the Blair high school class.is helpful prep for a notoriously difficult college subject.[/quote]
