a lot of folks go through the 200-hour course mostly as a way to way to deepen their practice. I think only about half of my class went on to regularly teach-- I was one of the ones who never taught. I will, however, caution you against taking the teacher training at your favorite studio. It's very much a case of seeing how the sausage is made, and you will never be invisible in class ever again. If your yoga studio is where you unplug from daily stress and interpersonal politics, well, it can change that dynamic forever.
