Yes, many people go to grad school, but many people who are good matches for grad school aren't anxiety-ridden type A students, but very casual, calm hard working types. Choosing to grind through college is....a choice. It's not something Swarthmore forces upon you. The whole grind culture is very overblown.[/quote] I'm glad that your experience is better. I don't think OP wants her child at Swat if she wants advice about less stressful schools. That's not one of them in my opinion (and I'm sure in that of many others).[/quote]
