Right now the sweet spot for age and skill level is probably 2011 ECNL/MLS Next. The founder, Stanley Alves, has a group ranging from 2009 to 2012. He needs to assess the kid to see if he is a fit with the group. Not everyone is accepted. Several ECNL-RL / EDP kids are in the group, but they are extremely dedicated and have risen their skills to top level team. You kid is not going to get coached or corrected every time they make a mistake, but if he wants to maintain a passion for soccer outside of club and get better in the process - highly recommend.
