Korean food is pretttty diverse. Difficult to imagine you eat SO much of it you can't find new/interesting things on the menu. Also, sounds like you hate your wife and there's a lot going on and this is just the thing you're complaining about today.
No it is not diverse. It never uses cheese. No cream. No use of herbs like basil, thyme, oregano. Rarely does it ever use techniques like roasting, baking, or anything ever to do with an oven. Look, I like Korean. I just don't need that same flavor profile for 999 out of 1000 meals I my life and have someone else dictate the crap out of what goes into my mouth the majority of the time. I'm so tired of it.
Oh. You just want boring European food. now we're getting somewhere—you've got a wife who is more sophisticated and it makes you angry... is this misogyny or just garden-variety anger at realizing you're the simple one?
Omg STFU. European food has its own flavor profile. As does Korean, as does Japanese, as does American, as does Chinese. Maybe I simply want diversity from all over in my life rather than just the same staid flavors from Korea 99% of the time . Lol, you act as if Korean food has this magical array of flavor. No it doesn't. Most of it is pickled or uses salt only or is covered in the same type of chili based sauce/flavor. Thai is way more diverse than Korean, but we never get to try that too. There's nothing wrong with wanting 'boring' pizza one day, a burger the next, tacos another, Greek spanikopita, or an Argentinian grilled platter. Maybe you should be stop being such a narrow minded twit and simply enjoy the diversity of the cuisine on the planet rather than constantly only ever wanting something cooked in a wok or hot pot.
