Registration for RMSC Rockville tryout is still open! Last year, there were long waiting lists.
Its the hardest to get into.
Based on what data?
Clearly you are not rmsc. It’s the most selective.
It's the most selective because it's the cheapest, at least at the developmental practice levels. So if you're in MoCo and you're looking for a swim club for your eight year old, or even your 10 year old, it's a very attractive option. And then because they have such a large group from which to draw, the really fast kids often stick with it for the advanced practice groups, even though those are not significantly less money than other options. It's a case of multiple things being true: they have some incredibly fast swimmers and also the quality of instruction for the younger kids/non-advanced groups is highly variable, at best.
I think the previous poster meant that the Rockville site is most selective compared to other RMSC sites (Germantown/Olney/MLK/KSAC).
Ah - good point. KSAC is right up there, from my understanding. And probably the others are still more selective than other programs again, due to space.
