Do a planned induction. Get the epidural pretty early on. You should not have any pain.
I had this and it was extremely painful because my epidural only worked on one side.
Op here. I wonder why? During my emergency c section I could feel nothing but during my vbac I could definitely feel pain. I had an epidural with both but emergency c it was a spinal. I wonder if you get more of it during emergency surgery?
Op here ah it looks like if you already had a epidural during labor and go for the emergency c section it complicates things. That wasn’t the case for me and I believe they gave me meds to fall asleep right after c section or I forgot everything that happened. The next morning I woke up and was very confused how to got to my room etc but my husband said I was awake and talking a lot. I forgot who I called and called them back later to let them know the baby was here for a second time and that I had surgery 😊
