In some MCPS schools, there are not enough students in each demographic taking AP classes to please the higher ups in central office. In those schools, there is a push to put more kids in AP classes. This is particularly true in EOS (Equal Opportunity Schools). That was another initiative purchased by MCPS, I think when Dr Smith was superintendent [/quote]
