It’s usually detected during prenatal exams, but we only found out after dd had very high blood pressure at one of her physicals. The reflux had caused kidney damage which affects her blood pressure. Without other symptoms, such as frequent fevers or high blood pressure, this isn’t something doctors would normally test for. [/quote]
