If you've saved more in a 529 than trade school costs you can transfer to another kid, or, if there are no educational expenses left to pay you can withraw the money with some penalties. If you haven't saved it all in a 529 (we didn't, we had some set aside for college in regular UGMA mutual fund accounts) then you can do what you want with the money. [/quote]
