Unfortunately some docs can do this and get different level of respect for their time than others. I can almost guarantee that orthopedic dude is not getting texts at 10pm asking if some clearly abnormal thing is abnormal, or fielding a call at 6am asking for him to contact the school with an excuse for a sick kid because the parent is going to sleep. A female pediatrician will, though. It's not bad. It's just not necessarily feasible in other contexts, and that's not really because of the docs. [/quote]
