I know several cases where after anywhere from 4 months to over a year, the parent did adjust and seem happy there. It is the best place for her. I am so sorry for what you went through and I say it from the heart because I have an incredibly challenging and outburst prone mom who traumatized my kids and me (and in this case it was a worsening of behavior, not new behavior). I hope you are recuperating from all this and can rest assured she is where she needs to be.[/quote]
