You figured out the difference yourself. Stereotyping is generalizing based on race; racism is hating people or looking down on people based on race. Both are bad, and they are related, but one is certainly worse. I am the PP who said there is a difference, but I wouldn’t want my kid doing either. I think the PP who asked which one implied that stereotyping is not worth correcting, and I disagree. [/quote]
