I do go in person. I love field trips. Remote people more than happy to come to your home. Just need to call in my lunch order.

Pre Covid I flew all the time for meetings. I actually flew to Japan twice for 1/2 day meetings. I even flew Portland an hour meeting.

I even did 6 weeks in a row Bermuda to “oversee staff”

Today I am at a work golf outing, last week a Nats game for work, doing offsite board meeting in Hilton Head in August, Vegas conference in December. I put in for a big T&E budget. Getting back to business.

Covid killed me being home from March 2020 to April 2023. I now know what it was like for the Iran Hostages and POWs in WWII. A modern day Schindler’s List was Remote work.

And with lazy most  bones who remote  I  quickly figured could do my job 1-2 hours a day and to to full up day took on multiple remote jobs. Yea I was making 600k a year all my jobs but not healthy.

Thank God back to my big corner office, with secretary, executive parking, staff to boss around and my corporate credit card. Let’s see how many $1,000 dinners I can push through before my days above ground in person ends and I am back in basement with my three laptops, headsets, multiple screens making $50,000 a month.

I am not about the money. Now I got to go the beer girl is nearby.

And judging from my staff I can work till 80.

Only an idiot wants to WFH a lot. Taking out my corporate credit at home is Fraud. Taking out my corporate card at work for “team building” is ok. [/quote]
