The NYT published a big spread about how various special interest groups and even fed bureaucracies are getting ready to battle Trump by blocking him at every turn. Which, ironically, only reconfirms to the Republican half of the country that there is definitely an anti-democratic deep state. Nonetheless, the previous poster is correct, outside the media hysteria of 2016-2020, a great deal of it self made through delusional belief like Russian interference and the Steele Dossier that turned out to be fraudulent, very little changed other than tax cuts and a strong anti-illegal immigrant stance, which did see migration across the borders fall sharply.

I do occasionally see these fearful posts from people who genuinely do think Trump storm troopers are going to round up trans people and send them to concentration camps and only shake my head at amazement. [/quote]
