OP here.

I hadn't realized this before you mentioned it, but yes! It fits perfectly. Better than most of my other clothes, which fit fine, but you know, there's always something a little off somewhere. This fits like a glove at the torso, and the skirt part goes nearly to the ground, but not quite, which is exactly what I want. Also, it's really comfortable, which gives me more confidence.

I so wish I could find some other dresses with that cut!

It is always a fit. If the clothes fits you right, then it complements your body. You don't need to recreate this dress, you just need to make sure that all your clothes fit you properly. [/quote]
