I didn’t realize lesbians even existed until I was a few years older and it wasn’t until I was in my 20s that I looked back on some of my teenage crushes and realized they were in fact crushes. My efforts to conform and date boys in high school were so terrible it’s hilarious looking back. I’m so glad teens these days don’t feel like they have to pretend to be straight and have the information available to realize there are other options.[/quote]
