Can folks also list schools that did not have any staffing reductions this week? I know there are some; mostly elementary schools I think.
I am hearing from ES specialists (music, art, PE) that many have lost .1 from their allocations, which means that yes, many elementary schools are facing staffing reductions as well. (Specials allocations are based on how many "teaching stations" ie. classes are in the school. The .1 cut means that there will be fewer classes next year.)
Sometimes a specialist teaches at more than one elementary school. For example, they might teach four days at one school and one school at another, so it is possible that, at the ES level, the same number of classes might be available, but with different teachers.
