It's a bit sus that we find out close to the last day of school, so we don't bother the school?[/quote] The explanation given on the FCPS board by people claiming to be teachers is that VDOE reserves some time after test results come in to check and make sure that there wasn't one outlier question (say the majority of the state just bombed one question or something) and make minor modifications to the scoring system. Apparently VDOE hasn't used that in years, but they reserve that time. After that FCPS has to put together their cover letter for the new scoring report from the state, I guess.
