What is the point of a "Pink Jeep" tour?
That's what I'd like to know and I've visited Sedona many times. I was just there again in March. You can hike to the trail where the Pink Jeeps go and it's not a hard hike at all. It's called Little Horse to Chicken Point. Oh yeah, and it's FREE. I think people just think it's something you HAVE to do when you go to Sedona. To me, it's a tourist trap. You can see so much on your own -- for free (instead of the hundreds of dollars these tours want) -- and the scenery you see on the hikes is better.
Why do you think there's only one trail you can book as a PJ tour?
There isn't; Broken Arrow is the most popular Sedona jeep tour and it goes here. The other sedona jeep tours are not popular for a reason.
You can hike on any one of the numerous trails (for free) but it's not the same as a jeep excursion. It's not like hiking is hard to find or there aren't hundreds of trails, everyone knows this. The point is there is hiking and there are jeep excursions, they aren't the same.
