I’m a Lehigh alum but have family that went to Bucknell and have spent a fair amount of time there. I would go with Lehigh.
How would you differentiate? What kind of student thrives there? Lehigh tracks DI way more than Bucknell
A lot of what people already said - Lehigh is bigger, which just gives you more opportunities to meet different people. Bucknell always felt very homogenous to me- and quite bland. I just found Lehigh to be a more dynamic school with more interesting people and more opportunities. When I went there was a huge focus on the Greek system but I didn’t rush and neither did many of my friends - we had a great social life and a huge, diverse group of friends (we are all still friends and I see and talk to them often). When I went to visit my family members at Bucknell while they were there, I was always glad I chose Lehigh. I also think it’s a much prettier campus (but that’s just my opinion). Academically I would say Lehigh is better, better sports, etc, but it’s not such a huge difference, I would just say Lehigh has the edge on all that.
