My kid's language arts teacher pretty much redlined the entirety of my kid's essay. I read the teacher's edits, I read my kid's - told my kid to submit original. It was the right choice. Don't let any teacher take away your DC's voice. What they are writing about should be authentic, not screened through the eyes of someone who may not even know them well.[/quote]
