These cameras are out there because too many kids have been killed by careless drivers like OP.[/quote] OP didn’t hit anyone so it seems they were driving in a safe manner. Those cameras can’t distinguish safe driving from unsafe behavior and should be removed. Stopping for three seconds before accelerating would be unsafe if a pedestrian is in the crosswalk but the camera wouldn’t ticket you. [/quote]
