I live in DC and pay sitters minimum of $25/ hour, have three kids and have zero issue finding sitters. Call me crazy if you want but it certainly works for me. Also, of course it is about the money! Sitters babysit for the money. You are going to get more candidates if you pay more. Basic supply and demand. [/quote]
